The oldest museum as well as the State museum of Rajasthan, the Albert Hall was completed in 1887 by architect Major Samuel Swinton Jacob, a British Military engineer. It combines elements of English and North Indian architecture, as well as huge decorations celebrating the world’s great cultures.
A major part of the Jaipur City Palace consists of the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II museum, named after the last Maharaja of Jaipur, it is also the residence of the Jaipur Royal Family.
An impressive palace complex at the centre of Jaipur with courtyards, gardens, and buildings. The palace was built between 1729 and 1732 by Sawai Jai Singh II.
