Today the world’s youngest reigning monarch, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan, married 21 year old Jetsun Pema, daughter of an airline pilot. The ceremony was held much smaller than the previous royal weddings of this year, but was broadcast on Bhutanese television. In a colourful ceremony started at 8.20 in the morning and culminated in the new queen taking the throne. Find a video of the ceremony here.
