Vulture Protection Centres in Kalika community forest area in Nepal are showing first success: Five nests of endangered vultures have been found in different forests so far and the number of vultures is gradually increasing.

Two years ago there were around 70-80 vultures coming to the vulture food security centre, now this number has increased to 200, as Moti Adhikari, the coordinator of the Vulture Protection Centre stated.

Eight different species of vultures can be found in Nepal, including Sun, Raj, Himali, Kalokheri, Sim and Dhunga Singe.
