Further to our social media posts throughout this morning.
We have been advised of no fatalities or injuries to any of our customers. They have been advised to stay at their hotels.
In particular, our thoughts will be with the family and friends of those deceased and injured by the earthquake in Nepal and India.
The welfare of our customers is our number one priority and we are currently doing everything possible for those affected in Nepal.

Our local staff and agents are managing the situation, there will be no Himalayan Footsteps directors or specialists deployed to Nepal or India at this time.
We wish to thank the emergency services in Kathmandu, Nepal and India, our local manager and his team, who so far have played a tremendous role in looking after everyone involved.
This statement will be updated on Monday when we will be able to update with further information.
Update: Monday 27 April, 10:50am UK Time
Our customers have departed Nepal safely. For safety reasons, customers spent nights in tented accommodation on open land after for the night after the earthquake struck.
We reiterate our praise for the work our team in Nepal has done under such difficult conditions.
There will be no further updates.
