Yamdrok Lake

This is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Yamdrok Lake means ‘Jade lake’ in Tibetan. It’s the largest lake in Southern Tibet. The Nagarze County, Shannan Prefecture, Yamdrok Lake is about 70 kilometres from Lhasa. It is a coral coloured lake and it is also called the coral lake. The unique natural scenery of Yamdrok Lake, combining lakes, islands, pasture, wild animals and plants, the monastery, snowy mountains, and blue sky, is incredibly attractive.

Norbulingka Palace

This is the biggest man-made garden in Tibet’s Autonomous Region. Norbulingka or Jewel Park was added to World Heritage Sites in 2001. Dotted with various kinds of precious flowers and plants, it is the genuine “Plateau Oxygen Bar”. You easily get relaxed with a peaceful atmosphere and tranquillity when walking in this pure land.

Potala Palace

‘The Palace of art’, the Potala palace is an architectural marvel which rises out of the centre of Lhasa. It is a large and impressive building complex. The palace is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.

Everest Base Camp

This is one of the most popular destinations and spectacular mountain peaks for tourists in Tibet, the sight of the bright white snow fields on the north face of Everest framed by a pure blue sky.
