Parsa

landscape

The landscape is dominated by the rugged Churia Hills, covered by tropical forests. The reserve is a home to wild elephants, royal bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears, blue bulls and many other animals. Even some one-horned rhinos have relocated to the park. 29kms from Adhabar, the headquarters of the park, you can find Kailash: a religious place and scenic viewpoint.

Parsa Wildlife Reserve

Parsa Wildlife Reserve is easy to reach from Kathmandu by plane or bus. The best season to visit is October to March, before the days get too hot and wet.
