On 19. February Bryan Adams gave a live concert in Kathmandu – together with some of his most dedicated followers. The star is thought to have brought a boost to tourism in Nepal. People from India had joined the audience, just as had Australians and Canadians.

For some of them it was a good chance to kill two birds with one stone: Seeing a singer they adore and visiting a far away country they had long dreamed of! For many of them the reason to come to the concert was that the tickets were much cheaper than any home concerts.
