13 March 2013 | Sirin Sevinc, Camden, London
Nepal: “It was very well organised! everything was on time and the staff was amazing! very helpful and friendly and always kept me company. The thing I liked the most about this trip was, it was specifically tailored for me. I could make the necessary updates as I wanted so was quite flexible in that sense. It was very well organised. All the staff I met and the tour guides they were amazing. really helpful and made sure I was happy and comfortable. Life is not easy in Nepal, there are electricity cuts and strikes all the time but the best thing is, my trip was never affected and everything was according to the plan.”

01 February 2013 | Angeliki Parianos
Nepal: “Nepal was great! and so was the volunteering  I am very glad that  I experienced it :-)

14 December 2012 | Christine Margry, Friston
India: “I spent time in the National Parks with great tiger sightings, my guide Sid was excellent. Have been treated like royalty, amazing hospitality, can’t wait to plan my next trip.”

13 December 2012 | Charlie Margry, Melbourne Australia
India, Bhutan, Nepal: “I loved the variety – so many places to go, things to see. A wonderful mixture of culture and adventure. Travelling on my own was a bit boring. Possibly better to travel in groups or to stay in a hostel as it’s easier to meet people.”

Arriving in Kathmandu Airport05 November 2012 | Jean Penny, Bletchley
Nepal: “I enjoyed everything about the holiday experiencing the different culture and seeing how people live and work in Nepal, however, the activity that I enjoyed most on the tour was the Rafting and overnight on the beach. This holiday was the most amazing holiday we’ve ever been on. Being able to experience the different places in Nepal was fabulous and showed completely different things. We loved the craziness of Kathmandu but loved the peace and beauty of Pokhara. I have never travelled with a company that has offered the completely amazing service that Himalayan Footsteps provides.”

24 October 2012 | Neil Mackenzie and Barry Hewitt, Scout Leaders, Edinburgh
Nepal: “We liked the wonderful hospitality and friends we made. Our time in Chang Patan was wonderful and it’s very exciting knowing we will be back, but this time with 50 other people!”

16 August 2012 | Howard Llewellyn, Elgin
Nepal: “We all had a GREAT time and are sad to be back. Nepal was wonderful. Your organisation was fantastic and meant we felt very confidant as to what was happening at all times.”

07 June 2012 | George & Liene, Guernsey
Nepal & India: “Thank you for organising an amazing holiday for us both. We are still lost for words until people ask to see our photos. I will recommend Himalayan Footsteps to everybody that asks me about our honeymoon. Thank you again, George & Liene.”

21 April 2012 | Tom McGuire, EdinburghSMESU Scout in Pokhara, Nepal
Nepal & Annapurna : “What I like most about our holiday was the personalised service and flexibility from booking to arriving to coming home. Wonderful! I would suggest adding notes about porter baggage packing into the trip guidelines and I’m extremely likely to recommend Himalayan Footsteps to others”.

05 April 2012 | Lou Rouse, Norfolk
Nepal: “The Buddhist retreat was my favourite part of my trip! I am very satisfied with the holiday and I would recommend Himalayan Footsteps to others, especially women who wish to travel solo”.

26 March 2012 | Annette Wessmann, Glasgow
Nepal: “I am extremely likely to recommend Himalayan Footsteps to others and I was very satisfied with my experience. I liked that it was so individually organised, other companies usually have a set trip agenda which does not leave much space for individual preferences, and that’s why I did not use other companies. The friendliness of Nepali people is outstanding! I really liked having a taxi as transport medium rather than travelling with the bus which made my journey easier and more comfortable. The trek was lovely and it was amazing to be so close to the beautiful mountains”.

24 February 2012 | Lou Rouse, Kings Lynn, Norfolk
A single female traveller who booked her Nepal trip with Himalayan Footsteps sent this lovely message:

17 February 2012 | Paul and Sandra Cheney, Cynwyl Elfed, Carmarthenshire
Nepal & Darjeeling: “It was fantastic. A trip of  a lifetime to meet wonderful people in a fascinating country. Your staff and their service was first class, your company is exceptional, don’t change a thing. We’d love to go back again because your staff know the country which means we can plan our holiday from the UK and enjoy our holiday when we get there.”

03 February 2012 | Jan Ferguson, Edinburgh
Nepal: “A massive thanks to Isha and Olly at Himalayan Footsteps for organising my travel and accommodation in Kathmandu. Everything went like clockwork and couldn’t have been simpler. Even the little things like being met at the airport and taken straight to my hotel, make a big difference after travelling for 18 hours!! The Hotel Ganesh Himal was very comfortable with friendly, helpful staff, a lovely garden and a rooftop terrace for the views. Close enough to the buzz of Thamel without being in it…so quiet and peaceful to return to. Himalayan Footsteps did exactly what I asked and took the stress out of travelling solo to a far flung place! If I’m ever lucky enough to return to Nepal, I would have no hesitation in handing over my entire trip to their capable hands. Thank you again”.

20 January 2012 | Paul & Sandra Cheney

01 May 2011 | Diana O’Neil, Edinburgh
“Your service is excellent, I am dependant for someone to work out the details – times/connections/prices etc. I am not computer literate, also I am not up-to-date with changes in air travel. So, it has been a huge help to me to have found your office. Many thanks for your help with my travel arrangements. I feel secure with them which helps my nervousness in travelling.”

02 April 2011 | Nikolaus Vafeiopoulos, Edinburgh
India: “Himalayan Footsteps’ service in the UK and in India was excellent! I am very happy to have taken this trip, and to have booked with your exceptional company! The staff in India took very warm care of me, and when I was ill for a couple of days Gurmet was like a nurse for me! Is there any possibility that we can send a small present to him?”

17 December 2010 | Niranjan Prasad Pant, Edinburgh

Nepal continued: “What a wonderful holiday, from the moment we were picked up and taken to the airport we have been exceptionally well looked after. Our hotels were clean and welcoming, our guides were friendly and knowledgeable. You pieced together an itinerary that was a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, culture and wildlife, temples and gardens. If we pieced together this holiday ourselves it would have been a shadow of the holiday that you created for us. Our time in Nepal was incredible value and our memories will last a lifetime. We will be recommending Himalayan Footsteps to all of our friends and colleagues, thanks again, now can we talk about Bhutan?”
