Due to the success of our business online we will be making a few changes, but nothing that should effect you or your relationship with us.

In 2007 I identified a need for authoritative, friendly, and local knowledge when planning a holiday to long-haul destinations in the Himalayas and so I founded Himalayan Footsteps where I built up our reputation from our small high-street store in Edinburgh.

Over the years and after investment in our online presence we have found that the need for our services reaches nationwide, and on occasions abroad. It therefore makes sense for us to take the next step in 2012 and close our high street store at 406 Morningside Road and move more services online.

I understand that for some of you meeting us face to face is important. I believe that maintaining our personal service is vital and that’s why I want to reassure you that we are here for you by website, phone, email, or Skype and via our Twitter and Facebook accounts with the same expertise, and the same care and attention to deliver your holiday.

Lastly I would like to thank the Edinburgh community and Morningside area for a brilliant 5 years on the high street, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed it and will keep fond memories of our time there.
